French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are still hopeful that star player Kylian Mbappe will stay at the club beyond the end of this season. According to French journalist Sebastien Dennis, PSG and 2022 FIFA World Cup host nation Qatar are doing everything possible for the French World Cup winner to stay at the Parc des Princes. The PSG owners are from Asian country Qatar. Frenchman Dennis who works for Foot Mercato said that PSG have already made the best possible offer for Kylian Mbappe but they have not been able to convince him to sign a new deal. His current PSG deal will expire at the end of the season.

Kylian Mbappe became one of the hottest youth attackers in world football during his time at AS Monaco in the French league. The French international became a known figure on the European football scene when he played a big part in the Champions League semi-final run made by PSG during the 2016/17 season.

PSG paid €160m to sign Kylian Mbappe from fellow French team AS Monaco in the summer of 2017.Initially, Mbappe joined PSG on loan with the obligation to make the move permanent. The young French attacker has been one of the best players in the worldsince he came a PSG player.

He scored the winning goal in stoppage time of the home game against Rennes in the league at the weekend and also repeated the feat against visitors Real Madrid in the first leg of the round of 16 tie in the Champions League.
